Our Story
Upon arriving in Barcelona, you will be transported to our hotel, nestled along one of Costa Brava’s most exclusive beaches. This picturesque and well-preserved fishing village is a hidden gem of Northern Costa Brava, celebrated for its dramatic cliffs, striking rock formations, and preserved beaches. A favorite among artists for generations, its breathtaking scenery has inspired countless masterpieces. After checking in, you can relax on your private terrace with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, take a peaceful stroll along the unspoiled shoreline, or wander through the charming, winding streets that lead to the sea. Our highly rated accommodations offer stunning seaside views, convenient access to nearby towns, and countless inspiring locations perfect for painting.
The workshop price is $2950 - Per person
Single rooms are extremely limited and are available
for an additional, one-time $685 fee.
WORKSHOP INCLUDES: Lodging for 7 nights (double occupancy), daily breakfast, entrance fees (if any), transportation to sights and locations on the agenda, as well as personalized drawing and/or painting instruction, a Welcome Reception, and Farewell dinner.
Round-trip group transportation between a site in Barcelona and our seaside hotel in Calella de Palafrugell is included for May 16, arrival day, and May 23, departure day. Itinerary details to come after registration.
NOT INCLUDED: Round-trip airfare to Barcelona, Spain, personal items, lunch and dinner, phone calls, or art supplies.
WORKSHOP PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
A $500 Deposit is required at the time of registration to save your spot. Please email The Art League to Margaret at: margaretc@theartleague.org to reserve a place. Spaces are limited….. so do not hesitate to send an email with your phone number. Your call will be returned to collect registration information. All spaces are on a first- come, first served basis in the order in which they are received. Emails are preferred, calls can get transferred and potentially lost. Thank you!!

ACCOMMODATIONS
We have selected a beautifully renovated hotel in a quaint fishing village, featuring picturesque sea views that overlook the villages charming narrow streets, rugged coastline, and preserved beaches. Our town is located at the center of Costa Brava.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of cancellation by the participant, payment for trip costs will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation as follows:Deposit received…. After 24 hours, there is no refund. If a cancellation notice is received after this time, there will be no refund; however, a credit will be issued for all additional deposits made, which may be used toward another Susan O’Neill travel workshop. Credits expire 2 years after issue date.
